The University of Valladolid hosts the 15th National and 6th International Conference on Engineering Thermodynamics (15CNIT).
Since 1999, this biennial forum has brought together professors, researchers, and technicians to exchange their latest research and teaching experiences in the fields of thermal engineering and thermodynamics.
Following the previous edition in Zaragoza, this meeting continues to serve as an open space for professional collaboration and the advancement of knowledge in these disciplines.
The conference will focus on the following topics:
- Energy, exergy, environmental, and economic analysis of thermal systems
- Renewable energy and circularity
- Heat and mass transfer processes
- Fuels, combustion, pyrolysis, and gasification
- Thermal engines and their subsystems
- Numerical simulation and modeling in thermal engineering
- Refrigeration, HVAC and indoor air quality (IAQ)
- Thermophysical properties of materials and fluids
- Educational innovation and digital tools
This year, the conference is held in person with an international scope in Valladolid from Wednesday, June 23, 2027, to Friday, June 25, 2027.
The program is structured over three days, featuring oral presentations and poster sessions.
The event also includes plenary sessions with renowned speakers, and further details regarding additional activities will be added as the agenda is finalized.
Submission and Registration Process:
- Abstract Submissions: Both short abstracts and subsequent extended abstracts must be submitted through the Symposium platform.
- Conference Registration & Payment: Registration and payment management will be processed separately through the Fundación Universidad de Valladolid platform.
